About Mrs. Burnside
I was born and raised in Cuyahoga Falls. I attended Cuyahoga Falls High School and graduated from the Univeristy of Akron. I was married to Paul Scott Burnside in 1984. He served in the Army Reserve and then the active duty Air Force. We lived in The United Kingdom for 5 1/2 years, Missippi for 1 month, Arizona for 1 year, and North Dakota for 2 1/2 years. We returned to this area in September 1994. I began at Redeemer in 1999. I taught 1st grade for 1 year and 2nd grade for 5 years. I started my current position in 2005.
Paul and I have 4 children. Heather (24) is married to Alex Bell and has two beautiful children (Xander 3 and Lily 1). Heather is attending the University of Akron and is pursuing a degree in Psychology. Alex is in the Army Reserves and is currently serving in Afganistan. Devin, April and Lacy are 20 (almost 21) year old triplets. Devin is in the active Army and is serving in The United Kingdom. April attends the University of Akron to pursue a teaching degree in middle school math. Lacy is finishing up her studies at Fortis College to be a medical assistant.
