Thanksgiving Eve November 25th -- 7:00 pm

For many, the year 2020 has been one in which it has been difficult to give thanks to God. Like David, we can wonder where the Lord has been. But, also like David, we can give thanks to the Lord for what He has provided. Through difficulty, pandemic, and strange times God is good. He is present. And for all that He has given we offer Him our thanks and praise.

Christ The King Sunday November 22, 2020 --11:15 am

The second coming of Jesus...the Scriptures tell us that it either will be a day of joy or a day of fear. At the end of days, Jesus will come to separate those who are faithful to Him from those who are not. For the faithful, this is a day for rejoicing. Our King has returned in victory to give His people victory.

The Twenty Fourth Sunday After Pentecost November 15 -- 11:15 am

Jesus tells two parables in Matthew 25. Today's parable looks to what we do with the gifts and resources the Lord has given us. Will our ministry multiply or subtract? How do we best make use of the resources God has given us...as His people and as His Church?

The Festival of All Saints November 1 -- 8:30 am

Among the special sections of the Bible are the Beatitudes (Matthew 5:3-12). The Beatitudes are called such because of their first word blessed; in Greek makarios. The saints of God are blessed; we have received the name of God in our Baptism and feed on Jesus' body and blood in Communion. We are called to live a different life; a life of being blessed to be a blessing.

The Twenty-Third Sunday After Pentecost November 8th -- 11:15 am

The kingdom of heaven ... It's where all believers in Jesus desire to spend eternity. Matthew 25 contains two of Jesus' parables about the kingdom of heaven; what it is like and what to expect. Today's parable reminds us to approach the coming of the King seriously.

A Service of Victory for Marylin Powell

Life on earth is full of suffering and hope. We suffer pain, endure hardships, and encounter disease. Yet, it is not without hope. Through the resurrection of Jesus, we are given new life in His name and we receive the hope that life on this earth is temporary and heaven is eternal. As we celebrate the faith and life of Marylin Jean (Pitkin) Powell, we celebrate faith in Jesus, knowing that there is hope for today and tomorrow.

Redeemer Christian School Chapel Service November 4th
