The Ninth Sunday After Pentecost August 2 -- 11:15 am

The poet Robert Frost wrote, .... Two roads diverged in a wood, and I - I took the one less traveled by, and that has made all the difference.... What road are you traveling? As baptized and redeemed children of God we are called to follow Jesus, oftentimes a road ....less traveled by.... Because of the cross of Jesus and His empty tomb, Following Jesus makes all the difference.

The Eighth Sunday After Pentecost July 26 -- 11:15 am

God chose you. He did it deliberately. He did it because He loves you. He did it because there's nothing we can bring to make God love us more. God chose you; and because He has, we rejoice!

God's Word is powerful and effective. It points us to Jesus and it reminds us of the love of God for all people. As the Lord lives in our lives, we cannot help but rejoice and as we read and live His Word our lives are filled with joy.

The Fifth Sunday After Pentecost July 5 -- 11:15 am

On this weekend celebrating our freedoms as citizens of this country, we are reminded of the full reason Jesus came to earth ... to free His people -- to free all humanity -- from the curse and penalty of sin. The American founding fathers sought, and fought for, freedom from the oppression of other nations. In Christ, we receive freedom from the bondage of sin so that we may be truly free.

The Fourth Sunday After Pentecost -- 11:15 am

Our God is a sending God. He sends us to make disciples by baptizing and teaching. He sends us with a call to lose our lives for His sake, in order to find what life is really all about. He sends us to serve in His Name.
