Greetings in Jesus’ name! I came to serve Redeemer as Senior Pastor in November 2017. In my years of ministry prior to serving Redeemer I have served congregations in Iowa, Oregon, and Texas and have served in team ministries, as a sole pastor, and as a church planter.

My wife, Debbie, and I have been married for 22 years. We have three children: Andrew (a junior at Concordia University Texas), Miriam (a freshman at Stark State – Akron); and Seth (a sophomore at Woodridge High School).

I’m committed to the study of God’s Word, not solely for study but to be built up in a life of discipleship so that all people may join Jesus on the mission He has for Cuyahoga Falls and the surrounding communities. While it’s important to know what God’s Word says, it’s equally important to put the faith the Holy Spirit grows and forms in us through Word and Sacraments into practice. Our God is a sending God, and He sends His people into the community so that they may meet Jesus in us as we reflect His love to others.
