WELCOME TO PREKINDERGARTEN

AM CLASS 8:30 AM – 11:15AM (Monday – Friday)

PM CLASS 12:15 PM – 3:00PM ( Monday – Friday)

I am looking forward to the 2011-12 school year and want to thank you for letting me share in a small chapter of your child’s life.

The prekindergarten curriculum is developed and based on the early childhood state standards.  Through music, finger plays, structured daily centers, and many other activities, your child will learn to grasp the concepts needed to prepare them for kindergarten.

My prayer for each child is that they will understand the unconditional love of Jesus Christ and learn to share that love with others in all of our daily activities.  I want each child to understand that God has made them special and unique.

 About Mrs. Salyer

I am beginning my eleventh year at Redeemer as the pre-kindergarten teacher.  I also serve on the Early Childhood Cabinet for Lutheran Schools in the Ohio district.  I am continually searching for opportunities to make learning creative and fun for children. I have four children of my own who all attended Redeemer 1st - 8th grade.  My oldest son graduated from Akron University in 2010 with a Bachelors Degree in Finance.  My oldest daughter is a junior at Youngstown State studying the field of social work.  My two youngest children currently attend CVCA. Since I no longer have little ones at home, I enjoy the fun I am able to have with the little ones in the classroom each day.
